Westmoreland Electric Inc. is a company doing commercial, industrial and institutional electrical and telecommunications work since 
January 1, 1988 and as a corporation since January 1, 1997.  We are located at 193 Central Road, Tarrs PA 15688.  The company was started by KeithImpink, the president.

We are qualified and licensed to perform work throughout the state of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.  We have grown into a 18+ million dollar a year company with a workforce of over 80 employees.

Westmoreland Electric Services, LLC... was formed in 2015 as part of the succession plan for Keith Impink. All of the construction expertise of Westmoreland Electric has remained the same including the office staff, field personal and location of the office.

The only change is that four bright young men, current employees in the old company, are now managing partners along with the previous owner, Keith Impink. The new owners include Phillip E.Hunt, Brian P.Owens, John P. Roddy and Chris K. Schreckengost along with Keith.

Westmoreland Electric Services is an Electrical Contractor whose principal operations are electrical, telecommunications and service department orientated. Our projects include the construction and renovation of commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, and multi-unit housing buildings. We supply quality, operational, fully inspected and approved electrical systems. While we specialize in educational facilities and a large volume of our work is for schools, universities and their support facilities, we also have extensive experience performing work in student residences, high rise residential facilities, retirement communities, nursing homes, surgical centers, water and wastewater treatment plants and other commercial and municipal facilities. Our scopes of work have included lighting, theatrical dimming, electrical distribution, medium voltage distribution systems, underground and overhead fiber optic cable and complicated voice/video/data, fire alarm and security systems. We maintain the highest possible quality of service and installation available in our field. Our complex consists of an 8,800 square foot office and classroom facility, a prefab/storage warehouse of 11,250 square foot and an additional storage facility of 7,750 square feet. The office gives us the ability to operate the business in a professional manner. The classroom gives us the opportunity to train our workforce to be able to manage the challenges of our ever-growing technical profession. We also have a simulated project site training area that allows us to provide hands-on training of typical construction techniques. Our warehouse facility allows us to manage our general material storage and allows us to store specialty items away from project sites. Our prefab area allows us to perform work in a controlled environment for future installation at our project sites.
Westmoreland Electric was started in January of 1988 with two employees, one vehicle and a contract to install a Nurse Call System at St. Barnabas Nursing Home in Gibsonia, PA. In 1995 we expanded to 30 employees and approximately four million dollars of business volume. We moved to an office located in Greensburg, PA. As the business continued to grow, the increased office staff and lack of storage space mandated that we look for a larger facility. In 1998, three acres of land was purchased and construction of the new office and warehouse began. On Flag Day, June 14, 1999, we moved into a brand new building! Now with a new generation of owners, Westmoreland Electric Services (WES) is poised to move forward and continue to improve on what Keith Impink started in 1988! It has been through hard work and the TEAMWORK approach of every employee in our organization that has made it possible for the expansion that has occurred in the past and the bright outlook that is in our future!
At WES, we understand that our success depends on your success. That's why we've made a commitment to insure our work is performed to the highest industry standards to provide trouble-free service for the life of your building. We are dedicated to giving our owners and developers quality construction, on time and within budget. We have an office staff of full time project managers, estimators, a purchasing department, safety committee and warehouse. Our prefab department is designed to help production and cut costs for our owners. All of these individual departments are staffed by multiple personnel so matters can be acted on quickly and professionally. WES strives to keep abreast of all changes in the electrical field. Our commitment to continuing education means our experienced crews are always on top of the latest technology, techniques and trends in power distribution, lighting and life safety systems. We have numerous safety programs to meet the latest OSHA regulations including the NFPA 70E requirements. We have successfully worked on and completed numerous projects that conform to the LEED Green Building Rating System. We have BICSI certified telecommunications technicians and two RCDD’s on staff to design and install your telecommunications systems. Westmoreland Electric has a PA State Certified Apprenticeship Program to train our young workforce with the skills needed for this trade and also provides programs for all workers to update and expand their skills in the electrical and telecommunications field as well as safety training. Our workforce is highly skilled and able to perform any task!
